FILM FESTIVALS' CALLS FOR ENTRIES
The Wyoming Short Film Contest is open for entries. Submit videos online at
www.wyomingshortfilmcontest.com. $25,000 first prize for winning entry with a Wyoming storyline, featuring Wyoming, or presents the state as a major character. Due date: April 30, 2010; No entry fee. Any style or genre of film. Up to 15 minutes long (not including credits). Prize: $25,000 towards next project shot in Wyoming.
i48 | 2010 - 7th annual Idaho Forty Eight Hour Film Competition and Festival. Teams of filmmakers from anywhere in Idaho will have 48 hours to write, pre-produce, cast, shoot, and edit an original short film 4-7 minutes long. A week later, all completed films will be screened at the Flicks in Boise, followed by a “Best Of i48” Screening and Awards Ceremony at the Egyptian Theater. Subsequent screenings will be held in other participating cities throughout Idaho.
